We made our own.

From the people who pioneered ‘one touch video calling’ - we bring you a digital version (of what is colloquially referred to as a ‘dementia clock’ but in essence is used for orientation for older or disabled adults) of the reminder clock that is distributed in the thousands by Local Authorities and Telecare services.

Albeit we LOVE seeing a large, easy to read clock (like subtitles and dropped kerbs, seeing a LARGE, CLEAR clock when you walk into a room can benefit EVERYONE) we felt it needed bringing into 2022.

Friendly Reminders

Carers can send reminders through the Video Carephone, including prompts to take action, such as take medicine, have a wash, take a drink. These can be set up as a daily, weekly or a one-off reminder. Alcove can set up to five different responses to a reminder also that can notify carers of the response, or lack of response, by a text message or as a notification on the Alcove Android or IoS App.

If your loved one wants more? You can then turn it into an Alcove Video Carephone by simply contacting Alcove to add callers.
